What’s in a Bag?

Our blessing bags are carefully curated to meet both the practical and emotional needs of kids aged 2-18 in Western North Carolina. Each bag is filled with:

Everyday Essentials: Toothbrushes, toothpaste, socks, and warm clothing for the colder months.
School Supplies: Notebooks, crayons, pencils, and other items that empower kids to succeed.
Comfort and Joy: Small toys, stuffed animals, and handwritten notes of encouragement from our children to theirs.

These bags aren’t just filled with items—they’re filled with hope and love, designed to remind children they are cared for and valued.

Reaching the Heart of Western NC

Western North Carolina is home to beautiful mountain communities, but it’s also an area that’s been deeply impacted by natural disasters like Hurricane Helene. Flooding, isolation, and economic challenges leave many families struggling to recover.

At For Kids By Kids, we focus on these underserved areas, traveling into remote regions to deliver blessing bags directly to children who need them most. By building relationships with local organizations and churches, we ensure no child is overlooked.
